If you grab yourself a copy of the January UWyo magazine, you will happen upon the article “The Value of Volunteering.” The Wyoming Conservation Corps (WCC), Service, Leadership, and Community Service (SLCE), and WYO-Gold were major contributors to the BIG EVENT taking place this past year on October 8th. The BIG EVENT is dedicated to service around the communities in Laramie hosted by the University of Wyoming and its service organizations. The WCC is proud to be a part of the BIG EVENT and we look forward to this year’s BIG EVENT.
The University of Wyoming mobilizes roughly 185,000 hours of volunteer work each year. We are just happy to be a part of all of the good work. A great article on the community we are lucky enough to exist in by Micaela Myers.
