Family Photo 2016

This year’s orientation could have been one of the best since the WCC’s creation in 2006. The picture above shows the happy family of 2016 recently trained in chainsawing, trail construction and maintenance to USAF and International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) standards, wood and wire fencing, Leave No Trace, camp cooking, and all the other skills that come with camping and working outside. We could not be more excited for this year’s cohort. We say “good bye” to our crews Monday morning (May 30th) to head off the their first hitch. Expect a report on each of their hitches for this summer – same as last year.

A Big Thank You to Paul Gritten (director of non-motorized trails) with Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources, Mindy Meade with US Fish and Wildlife, and the Buford Foundation.

Now, get back to work everyone.
