Medicine Bow National Forest, Laramie Ranger District Vedauwoo Area/Happy Jack area – October 1st, 2016 – Over one hundred volunteers showed up to rake people’s yards, work on painting, waste management, and…work on trails for this year’s BIG EVENT hosted by Student Affairs, Service Leadership Community Engagement (SLCE), and the Alumni Association. If you are not a resident of Laramie, you probably don’t know that it is tradition to kick off University of Wyoming’s Homecoming with students showing their appreciation for the Laramie community by volunteering their Saturday to help with chores around the city.

Partnering with the University of Wyoming’s Outdoor Program staff and staff from the BIG EVENT, the WCC loaded up some volunteers and headed to the woods. We worked on multi-use trails around Crow Creek, connecting trail from Tie City, and Blair. These are just some of the pictures during this beautiful fall day.
