Crew Member: 450 hours
- Spend your summer exploring the mountains and valleys of Wyoming completing conservation projects with 7 other amazing people on your crew!
- Earn an AmeriCorps Education Award
- Learn about careers in natural resources around Wyoming

- Earn your Wilderness First Aid Certification and one upper-division credit from the Environment and Natural Resources college of the University of Wyoming at no cost to you
- Be a part of something bigger than yourself as you learn about the history of the Conservation Corps, AmeriCorps and the beauty of Wyoming

- Earn your Wilderness First Responder
- Earn 2 upper-division undergraduate course credits from the Environment and Natural Resources college of the University of Wyoming at no cost to you.
- In depth leadership training and close relationships with the project sponsors

- Employment: January – mid August
- Minimum age of 21 and able to lift 50lbs
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum experience with Microsoft Word
- US Citizen and eligible to earn AmeriCorps Education Award

Wyoming Veterans Trail Crew
Crew Member/Leader: 900 hours
- Spend your summer and fall traveling Wyoming designing, building, and maintaining recreation trails with 7 other military veterans.
- Earn an AmeriCorps Education Award
- Living stipend
- Earn your Wilderness First Aid Certification and one upper-division credit from the Environment and Natural Resources college of the University of Wyoming at no cost to you
- Be in a team environment again
- Learn technical skills about trail work and building with stone and wood
Application Requirements
- Employment:
- All: 5 days of S-212 training in April, Colorado Fire Camp
- Leaders: May 1 – October 13
- Members: May 15 – October 13
- Must have served or serving in US Armed Forces and have a DD 214
- Age 18-35
- Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- High School diploma or GED
- Familiar with hand tools
- Ability to hike in rugged terrain carrying heavy packs and tools
